Camera and mic run entirely on this phone. No video, audio or landmarks ever leave the device — the only thing sent back is an anonymous scorecard (three numbers and a fault count) so we can see whether this is any good.

How to get the most out of it
  1. Prop the phone up, or hold it at arm's length.
  2. Hit start, wait for the frame guide, then talk as you would on camera.
  3. One cue at a time appears at the top. Fix that one thing, ignore the rest.
  4. Stop when you're done and read the scorecard.

Add it to your home screen and it opens full-screen like an app.
